Omaha is played almost in the same manner as Texas Hold’em, the difference being that the player receives 4 hole cards instead of 2. The additional 2 cards almost assure that the best hand available is out there somewhere. One of the fascinating things about a lot of these different types of poker games is that they have Hi/Low versions. The stakes get higher when the person who has hit bets like mad to wipe out the chasers.

By discarding as many cards as you like, you should try to get the worst possible hand. 2-3-4-5-7 is a big thing for standard Triple Draw. After the first draw has been completed, there is another round of betting and then another discard round. Showdown occurs after a third draw followed by a round of betting. No pairs, flushes or straights are necessary to win. You want pure garbage and you scoop the pot.
