   This product is inexpensive and works well, and relieves the tedium of having to continually shuffle cards during family sessions of fast-moving card games.

   I bought two of these items and thought they would come in handy during a game of poker.
   
   One of them arrived broken beyond repair. Not due to transport or anything, but due to poor manufacturing.

   The other one did operate. The machine needs quite some space on the playing table and is easily obstructing the game because of this. When you use it it makes avery loud noise, like turning on the blender at full, it shoots out the cards, fast and hartd resulting in jamming the machine once every 3 times you use it. the cards hardly never fall nicely in the tray causing the problem of gettim them out one by one. This way you are not gainig any precious time for gameplaying.

   My husband has multiple sclerosis and has no feelings in his hands. The card shuffler enables him to still enjoy playing cribbage.

   Anyone that has special needs for their hands because of lack of feeling will love this item. And heck its nice for me too.

   This shuffler was originally intended to improve the quality of my home poker games. I mistakingly thought that having a shuffler would speed up shuffling and dealing and help move everything along smoothly. I imagined you set the deck in the shuffler, press a button, and pull out the shuffled deck but this is not the case. You have to cut the deck, put each half on a side and then hold down a button. The cards are shuffled into a tray which you have to pull out and repeat the process two more times because frankly once is just not an adequate shuffle. BOTTOM LINE it’s just faster and easier to shuffle by hand.

   Also as previous reviews have said the shuffler feel cheap, and is of extremely poor quality. The plastic is fragile, the motors are weak and easy to quit working. I’d say spend a little more, put your money towards a better shuffler.

   This is a low end card shuffler that does shuffle the cards. Period. The case is a brittle plastic which aches to break apart when dropped. The battery powered shuffling mechanism is screechy and loud. Use one hand to hold the button down and the other hand to cover your closest ear.

   And, lastly, the worst part of the gadget is the almost IMPOSSIBLE design for inserting or retrieving the batteries. Considering the fact that people who would want a gadget shuffler are probably arthritic you would think there would be an ergonomic approach to supplying the power source. Not so. There is no ribbon tab to withdraw the batteries once in place, but even getting them in the right position to begin with is incredibly difficult. The entry space is too small and awkwardly placed. There isn’t enough room for the battery and a finger to push it into place. Set aside 30 whole minutes to accomplish the task (spend 5 minutes looking for a tool to assist you. I used a thin wooden dowel).

   There is no little diagram as to which way to point the batteries so you wind up best guessing. My best guess resulted in the cards being spewed all over the room rather than shuffled into a neat pile. While this might be an entertaining little trick for when the grandkids visit, it was frustrating beyond belief to have to start over to reposition the batteries.

   While the product itself left much to be desired, the customer service I received was top-notch. Postage, however, resulted in half the purchase price.

   All totaled I would not recommend this product unless you enjoy a frustrating dexterity challenge, are deaf, and only play cards three times a year thus extending the battery time.
