There are many advantages to be had from playing Sit n Go. For starters it is low cost (sometimes even free), but it is also fun as well as being convenient to play. The reason why it is so convenient is that you don’t need to schedule a game as one starts every time a table gets filled up. Plus such games are normally over within a hour of play commencing. Below we will look at some Sit n Go tips which should help to improve the way you play.
1. In order that you can make the most money possible you should be able to convince your opponent that you are on a flush draw. The best way to do this is to best a small amount say a 1/3 or 1/4 of the amount in the pot. Many weak players will use this trick in order to try and control the size of the flop bet, which will provide them with good odds for a flush draw.
2. When playing in a Sit n Go tournament you should endeavor to play a tight game at the beginning and become more aggressive in your play towards the end of the tournament.
3. A good bet when playing the first hand of the tournament should be anywhere from 8-12% of your stack and no more. It is vital that you use these percentages during the early stages of any tournament as you will find that you won’t be using it so much later on in the tournament.
4. When placing bets only play on premium hands early on. Such a quality hand would be pocket jacks or better.
5. Do not limp late into a game as you will only be throwing away your chips. You should either be raising or folding at this point in time and blinding will only chip away at your stack. Whilst limping will keep you out of the cha-ching altogether.
6. When to bluff? This is crucial in the late stages of any Sit n Go tournament and so by paying close attention to your position in the tournament you will know when you need to bluff.
Hopefully these Sit n Go tips will help to improve your game of poker as well as put you on the road to winning.

Sit and Go Poker is an online poker tournament. The name comes from the fact that these games are played fast with a clear beginning and end. In each tournament there were be a predetermined number of players taking part. Then once all the spots at the table have been filled the game commences. Anyone taking part in a Sit and Go Poker tournament must buy in to it for the same amount of money. Thus all players will start the game with the same amount of chips. Slowly the blinds go up gradually in levels or stages until only one player is left (the winner). Normally all payouts are determined prior to the game commencing and are displayed to all players when they buy in.
A Sit n Go tournament will normally consist of 9 or 10 players and in a game like this the top 3 finishers would be placed in the money (they would get a share of the pot). However, there are some tournaments where as many as 50 players can be taking part (which would be 5 tables of 10 players) or it may be as few as only 2 playing Heads Up. What you should know though is that any tournament where more than 10 players are participating will play the games at more than one table and this is often referred to as multi-table tournament (MTT).
Moreover, when there are more players taking part in a tournament then more places will be paid out on and the higher the prize money available will be. But there is a disadvantage to be had from tournaments with more players competing in them as they normally take longer to complete as well as their being more players for you to beat.
Normally a Sit n Go Poker tournament where 9 players are entered will last between 30 to 60 minutes and some online casinos have “turbo Sit N Go’s” where the blinds go up faster. Such games will finish even more quickly. Whilst a Heads Up Sit and Go Poker tournament will often only last a few minutes

With the love of gambling, it is no surprise that there would be an appearance of it on the internet. Games such as online poker have been seen as the wave of the future. This is something that has gained a high level of appeal in the United Kingdom and also in the Caribbean Islands.
Â
Some have seen online poker as nothing more than just a fancy that will pass, yet it has been a market that has seen over two hundred million in U.S. dollars brought in per year. This is, of course, for the sites that use real money in the poker matches. Some of the accepted games in the United States have been for prizes and also for play money. This is to appease the Wire Act that has been a Federal Law that has prohibited much of the online gambling that has been taking other countries by storm.
Â
There are some critics that think that the United States government is keeping people from games like online poker that use real money so that they are not scammed or falling victim like many have in the United Kingdom and other countries. Still there are others that think that the reason is that it isn’t possible to taxes these sites and that this is a form of revenue that the government can’t afford to miss out on.
Â
President Bush recently passed a bill that bans all United States based financial institutions from being involved in the transfer of funds to online gambling. This has also been a means of separating the United States from the gambling like, online poker that has taken so many other locations by storm. This does also make it harder for people to play these games in other countries as well, if their funds are in the United States.
Â
Some companies have created a means of dancing around this topic with the creation of electronic wallets. These are a method for a person to transfer the money to a middle man company that can then fund online poker and other games that are in the cyber world.
Â
The United States has been trying to find a way to get involved in the internet for tax purposes and some states have made concessions that have fallen flat when the Federal government has had their way with these bills that have been passed. One such state that has been fighting for online gambling has been North Dakota and the battle still rages on to this day. Whether or not the United States will concede is something that millions are waiting to see so that they can enjoy the games of chance that have been dominant in the internet.
